Overview As a Guest Service Representative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring guests have a positive experience from check-in to check-out. You will be the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional customer service, managing reservations, and addressing any guest inquiries or issues. Key Responsibilities • Welcome and check-in guests efficiently • Handle guest inquiries and provide information about the hotel services and local attractions • Process guest check-outs and payments • Manage reservations and room assignments • Address guest concerns and escalate to management when necessary • Coordinate with other departments to ensure guest needs are met • Assist with concierge services such as booking transportation and making restaurant reservations • Maintain a clean and tidy front desk area • Handle incoming calls and take reservations over the phone • Participate in training and development programs • Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures • Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately • Contribute to a positive team environment • Assist with administrative tasks as needed • Provide support during emergencies or special events Required Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent • Prior experience in a customer service role • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Strong problem-solving abilities • Knowledge of hotel and hospitality industry • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment • Proficiency in using computer systems and software • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays • Positive and friendly attitude • Detail-oriented and organized • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure • Adaptability and willingness to learn new skills • Understanding of reservation systems and processes • Basic math skills for handling transactions • Knowledge of safety and security procedures Skills: customer service,communication,time management,adaptability,computer skills,sales
