Casual Role

The Lancemore Mansion hotel is looking for friendly and well

presented Team Member who will fit into our culture of delivering outstanding

customer service. Currently we are looking for a casual position representing the

guest service team

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Portage of guest luggage to and from suites.

Assist reservation enquiries with rates, availability, packages and facilities and

services we have to offer.

Checks guests in and out of the Property accurately and in a timely manner.

Greets all guests that come into contact with Guest Relations ensuring that the

guest name is used at all times.

Handles guest enquiries and provides information on local attractions and gives

directions as required.

Answers all telephone calls within three rings in a professional friendly manner.

Informs guests of all facilities and services available in the Property.

Sets up guest accounts accurately.

Reconciles cashier floats at the completion of each shift maintaining an

accurate float.

Documents all transactions and alterations to accounts & reservations.

Communicate with Team Members on the following shift in order to ensure

continuity of service.

Communicate guest requests & issues to appropriate departments promptly

and efficiently.

Ensures special requests are actioned appropriately and timely.

Maintains the cleanliness and the presentation of the front desk at all times.

Collects payment of accounts and issues receipts accordingly.

Maintains dress and grooming standards at all times

Poolside service of drinks, clearing poolside area of wet towels and neatening

sun lounges in pool areas and beachfront etc when required.

Carries out any additional duties assigned by the Front Office Manager or

management team.

ABOUT YOU:

Passionate about delivering exceptional guest satisfaction

Knowledge of a hotel's front office administrative duties – including the

administration of reservations, cash handling and reception duties is a distinct

advantage.

Commitment with flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends and public

holidays
