Overview :
Job Title: Guidewire BillingCenter Senior Developer/Lead
Location: Remote (Preferred support hours: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM CT)
Employment Type: Full-Time / Contract
Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior/Lead Developer with strong expertise in Guidewire BillingCenter (GW BC) to join our team. This individual will be responsible for leading development efforts, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful implementation and maintenance of BillingCenter solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as the technical lead for Guidewire BillingCenter development initiatives.
• Design, configure, and develop custom solutions within the GW BC framework.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and QA teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Perform code reviews, enforce best practices, and provide mentorship to junior developers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues related to BillingCenter.
• Support day-to-day operations and ensure system stability during the core support window: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM CT.
• Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and agile development processes.
Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• 10+ years of IT experience with a minimum of 6 years in Guidewire BillingCenter development.
• Strong hands-on experience in Guidewire Gosu programming and BillingCenter configuration/integration.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and deliver solutions on time.
• Familiarity with Guidewire Cloud or on-prem implementations.
• Solid understanding of billing processes in the P&C insurance domain.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Guidewire certification in BillingCenter (Developer or Architect level).
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Exposure to other Guidewire modules (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter) is a plus.
• Experience with integration tools, APIs, and DevOps practices.
