Job Title : Guidewire Policy Center Developer Location :Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Cochin, Kolkata, Delhi Experience 05 - 0+ Years Skills : Guidewire Policy Center Job Description : Responsibilities: Onsite - Offshore Coordination. Review the Development work in Areas of PCF Configuration, Business Rules, and Data Model Creation Managing and communicating team status to Onsite Management Coordinating with team to analysed defects Co-ordinate with other service provider and integration owners to make sure the applications are up and running Technical Skills: Design, develop and unit test solutions using the Guidewire Module Define and develop rating engine and related changes in system Gosu Development Knowledge of Guidewire Configuration Strong understanding of Design Patterns Strong background in OOP, UML, Object Oriented analysis and design Application design tools frameworks, e.g. Spring, Maven, Eclipse, etc Must have: hands on work experience Guidewire PC Configuration Should have good Domain Experience in P&C Hands on knowledge of Guidewire PC Configuration with respect to Rating engine Strong understanding of the Guidewire Rating platform (UI, Data Model, Studio etc.) 3-4 years of work experience in Java development projects Strong understanding of Design Patterns Strong background in OOP, UML, Object Oriented analysis and design Application design tools frameworks, e.g. Spring, Maven, Eclipse, etc. Excellent troubleshooting skills, especially in a complex application stacks Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Should have worked in Onsite-Offshore Model. Good to have: Certified Guidewire PC professional 3-4 Years of experience in Java programming Strong skills in Java programming Experience with REST web services is a plus Experience with various code versioning systems, such as SVN Ability to multi-task and switch context to changing priorities in a highly dynamic environment
