Are you a musician who loves playing music and hates working a real job? What if you had the opportunity to teach children how to play the instrument you love playing?

The Staten Island School of ROCK is seeking out a voice/singing coach to teach music lessons to all ages and levels. Even better if you have music theory behind you! We are a very fun team and would love someone who is outgoing and has a passion for music like we do !

WE NEED OUR COACH TO BE...

- Someone who has experience coaching piano, voice, drums, guitar, etc.

- Willing to learn The Staten Island School of ROCK's coaching methods as well as add their own style to lessons!

-Willing to do BOTH in-person and virtual lessons (we have our own virtual platform!)

- Team players, but also able to work individually

- Part-time (on a per student basis) to start with potential to go full time

-Someone who loves to have fun! It's important our students enjoy their lessons . Aside from lessons, we enjoy team building activities every few months !

- Able to assist in concerts, performances of any kind for our students

- Open to other opportunities in the future (eg: assisting/leading our Band Program, helping a student in recording studio, etc.)

- Punctual

- PASSIONATE of course! you gotta have a love for music and teaching to be able to inspire our students to be the best musicians they can be!

HOURS :

Part time to start with potential for full time. You can create your own schedule , but need someone open to Saturdays. We are closed Sundays.

The Staten Island School of ROCK is open :

M-F 1pm-8pm Sat 9am-3pm

We are looking for someone who can keep a consistent schedule with us
