Your role

– Assist on the production, review, and analysis of Regulatory controlling & reporting in Capital Adequacy Domain.
– Design and execute controls supporting the critical Regulatory Reports
– Execute report pre-submission checks, implement control procedures and review regulatory reporting requirements
– Execute and review key reporting controls (move & variance analysis, posting adjustments, reconciliations, Adhoc investigations etc.)
– Bring in process efficiencies/improvements/data quality projects to strengthen controls and reduce manual adjustments.
– Assess impact due to policy changes, new business initiatives and propose refinements to the control framework
– Prepare due diligence review decks and collaborate with senior stakeholders across different business divisions with a focus on optimizing scarce resources for the Bank
Your team
You will be an integral part of Group Capital Adequacy Team based at Business Solutions Center, Pune. The team focusses on calculation, control, review & filing of key regulatory vectors in Capital domain on the Risk Weighted Assets determination as part of the wider team encompassing Capital, Risk Weighted Assets ,Leverage Ratio Denominator, Large Exposure Reporting, IFRS-+ ECL Computations etc.
Your expertise
You have:
– A university degree with a strong understanding of accounting principles (preferably a CA qualification or MBA Finance from a reputed institute)
– Minimum 6 years' experience in financial services industry (regulatory reporting, financial and product control, liquidity, treasury)
– Demonstrated experience in regulatory reporting production, review, and submission.
– Strong understanding of Capital Markets, Banking Book & Trading Book Products/Exposures and Financial Instruments
– Understanding of Counterparty Credit Risk/ Market Risk.
– Exposure to RWA Calculation approaches - Standardized/Internal Models etc. (preferred)
– Sound experience in data analysis, validation, and presentation of results (MS Excel & MS PowerPoint)
– Attention to detail and adherence to deadlines
– Ability to collaborate and establish effective and trustworthy relationships with key stakeholders
– Exhibit Strong commitment to develop, maintain and abide by a strong control framework
