Position : Gypsum Carpenter
Location : Dubai
Salary : AED 1300 + OT + Allowances + Accommodation
Working Hours : 8 hours per day
Key Responsibilities :
Installation :
• Install gypsum boards and related materials on walls and ceilings.
• Cut and fit gypsum boards to size, ensuring precise measurements and alignment.
• Attach gypsum boards to the wall studs and ceiling joists using screws, nails, or adhesive.
Finishing :
• Tape and mud joints between gypsum boards to create a smooth surface.
• Sand and finish surfaces to prepare for painting or other treatments.
• Apply primer or paint as required.
Repairs and Maintenance :
• Repair damaged or worn gypsum board surfaces.
• Inspect and replace any defective parts of the gypsum board system.
Safety and Compliance :
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Ensure all work meets industry standards and building codes.
Skills Required : Technical Skills :
Technical Skills :
• Basic knowledge of gypsum board installation techniques and materials.
• Ability to measure, cut, and install gypsum boards accurately.
• Familiarity with tools and equipment used in gypsum carpentry.
Manual Dexterity :
Good hand-eye coordination and manual skills for precise work.
Problem-Solving :
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during installation and finishing.
Attention to Detail :
High level of attention to detail to ensure all work is performed to a high standard.
