Job Summary:
We are looking for a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong hairstyling skills, a friendly personality, and a dedication to excellent customer service. You will be responsible for consulting with clients, recommending styles, and providing haircuts, coloring, and treatments that suit their needs.
Responsibilities:
Greet clients and consult on their desired hairstyle, cut, or treatment
Wash, condition, cut, and style hair based on client requests
Offer hair coloring, highlights, balayage, and other chemical treatments
Recommend haircare products and services to clients
Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation, tools, and salon equipment
Keep up with the latest hairstyling trends, techniques, and products
Schedule appointments and manage client bookings when necessary
Provide excellent customer service to ensure a great salon experience
Follow safety and hygiene regulations
Requirements:
Valid cosmetology license (state-specific)
Proven experience as a Hair Stylist, Barber, or similar role
Expertise in cutting, coloring, and styling techniques
Knowledge of various hair types and textures
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
A positive attitude and a passion for the beauty industry
