Job Description
Award winning Salon Pure in downtown Princeton has openings for part-time apprentices. Our ideal candidate is an aspiring hairstylist or colorist who wants to gain experience and connections in the industry.
As an apprentice you will learn from our award winning editorial team. We offer in-house classes that include: cutting, razor cutting, color, Balayage, extensions, up-dos, makeup, etc. Also, guest artist classes with Goldwell and Paul Mitchell team members that teach the latest techniques.
We have rotating one on one training with our seasoned stylists for all apprentices to fast track on the floor. All applicants must have a valid cosmetology license and be available to work Saturdays.
Hair Stylist Assistant Duties and Responsibilities
Shampoo hair
Prepare hair stylist stations
Mix colors
Laundry
Stock towels, products, and retail inventory
Provide other assistance as necessary
Salon Assistant Requirements and Qualifications
Completion of a cosmetology school program or currently attending cosmetology school
Cosmetology license strongly preferred
Professional or aesthetic appearance
Customer service skills
Flexible schedule
Sundays are a must
