Overview
We are seeking a talented and personable Hair Stylist to join our vibrant salon team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hair styling and delivering exceptional customer service. The Hair Stylist will be responsible for providing professional haircuts, color treatments, styling, and other hair services while ensuring clients’ satisfaction and comfort. Responsibilities
Provide a variety of hair services including cuts (mainly women's cuts, but also men, color, styling, and treatments tailored to each client’s preferences.
Deliver outstanding customer service by listening carefully to clients’ needs and offering expert recommendations.
Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all tools, workstations, and salon areas in compliance with health regulations.
Upsell retail products such as shampoos, conditioners, styling tools, and treatments to enhance client results and increase sales.
Manage front desk duties including scheduling appointments, checking in clients, processing payments, and maintaining client records.
Communicate effectively with clients to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or special requests.
Stay current with industry trends and techniques through ongoing education and training sessions.
Experience
Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or in a similar role within a salon environment.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients.
Proficiency in hair styling techniques including cutting, coloring, blow-drying, and special treatments.
Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices for hygiene in a salon setting.
Ability to upsell products naturally while providing excellent service.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
