Job Description
Join our team as a Hairstylist at Fairmont Hotels & Resorts and be part of a dynamic environment where service excellence is key. Deliver exceptional guest experiences, contribute to a positive atmosphere, and help create lasting memories for every guest.
Position Type: Permanent
Pay Rate: $16.55 / hour plus commission and gratuities
Start Date: May 2026
Job Duties Include:
Perform hair care services including; mens grooming & styling, cutting, styling, blow-drying, hair colouring, conditioning treatments, formal evening designs & weddings
Ensure the proper procedures in the operations of each appointment, welcoming guests and booking reservations
Offer assistance with home care recommendations and prescribing the most beneficial products
Product training with subsequent sales goals will be assigned
Qualifications
Red Seal qualification mandatory
Certification from an accredited School of Hair is required
All professional licenses are to be current
CPR and First Aid certification preferred
Ability to be frequently standing, bending and reaching throughout shift
You may be required to work on holidays, weekends, overnights and other non-day shifts. Submission of your application to Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise indicates that you are able to meet these requirements as needed.
