Duties
Perform a variety of hair styling services including cuts, colors, and treatments tailored to client preferences.
Provide consultations to clients regarding their hair needs and recommend suitable styles and products.
Maintain a clean and organized work area by following sanitation protocols and ensuring all tools are properly disinfected.
Upsell salon products and services to enhance the client experience and meet sales goals.
Assist with front desk duties including scheduling appointments, managing client records, and handling retail sales.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their desires and provide professional advice on hair care.
Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling techniques and products to provide clients with the best options.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or similar role in a salon environment.
Strong skills in hair styling techniques, including cutting, coloring, and treatment applications.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Ability to upsell products and services effectively while maintaining a positive client experience.
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
Experience with front desk operations is a plus, including appointment scheduling and retail sales.
Knowledge of sanitation practices in accordance with industry standards.
