Ace Hotel Sydney is our first-ever spot in Australia, inhabiting a historic building set in the verve of Surry Hills. Inspired by the neighbourhood’s vibrant rhythm, Ace Sydney is home to a bustling public Lobby alive nearly nightly with DJs and performers, a rebellious art program and sunken lounge just off the Lobby bar. We’ve also got three distinct restaurants led by award-winning culinary pros. Now all we need is you.

We are seeking a reliable and passionate Handyperson to assist with the day to day maintenance of our 5 star hotel. ensuring the upkeep and functionality of our facilities, contributing to a pleasant experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will possess a proactive attitude and a willingness to learn, making them a valuable asset to our operations.

The Gig:

Perform general maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work
Assist in the repair and upkeep of hotel facilities and equipment
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and guests
Conduct regular inspections of premises to identify and resolve issues
Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Support the team in ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
Troubleshoot, diagnose & repair defective components.
Assist in maintaining building systems.
24 hours per week, ideal for students!
Rotating work week, including weekends.

Have a solid understanding of Safe Work Practices as well as WH&S.
Previous experience as a handyperson is preferred however not essential as on-shift training can be provided.
Have a basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and general repairs
Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
