Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse set of maintenance and repair skills, enabling them to address various tasks efficiently. This role is essential for ensuring that properties remain in excellent condition, providing a safe and comfortable environment for occupants. The Handy Man will work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Duties
Perform general maintenance tasks including (but not limited to) carpentry, and painting.
Conduct repairs on appliances, fixtures, and furniture as needed.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from tenants or property managers.
Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
Assist in the installation of new appliances or fixtures.
Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions.
Experience
Strong knowledge of various repair techniques and tools.
Ability to troubleshoot issues effectively and efficiently.
Familiarity with safety practices related to maintenance work.
Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
A valid driver’s license is required for travel between job sites.
Certification in relevant fields (e.g., plumbing, electrical) is a plus but not mandatory.
