About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Spray Painter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing surfaces, mixing paints, and applying paint and finishes to vehicles and other automotive components in line with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
Preparing surfaces by sanding, masking, priming, and cleaning before painting.
Mixing and matching paint colours to meet customer or manufacturer specifications.
Applying paint, varnish, enamel, and other finishes to vehicles and parts using spray guns or other equipment.
Touching up paintwork and applying final finishes to ensure high-quality results.
Maintaining spray-painting equipment and ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements.
Inspecting completed work to ensure finish, quality, and durability meet required standards.
Skills and Experience Required:
Minimum of 2 years’ relevant work experience OR a relevant trade qualification in spray painting/vehicle painting.
Proven ability to prepare, mix, and apply paints to a professional standard.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices.
