Crest Hotel Group requires an experienced and versatile Maintenance / Handy Person.The successful applicant must be an all-rounder with:- Ability to adhere to OH&S guidelines- A great attitude and work ethic- Skills in Plumbing, Carpentry, Electrical, Painting and Gardening.- The ability to think quickly and fix problems independently- Excellent teamwork and communication skills- Neat and professional presentation- Be responsible for stock inventory.- The ability to work unsupervised and get on with the job.To be considered for this position you must show you have had experience in a similar role and have a current police check.Responsibilities of this position include:- Use of power tools and equipment- Repairs of equipment- Ongoing maintenance and upkeep of tools and equipment.- Cleaning- Minor building repairs- General building maintenance- Maintain an organised workshopSalary: $65,000.00 per yearBenefits:- Employee discount- Professional development assistance- Salary packaging- Visa sponsorshipSchedule:- 8 hour shiftAbility to commute/relocate:- St Kilda VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)Licence/Certification:- White Card (preferred)- Driver Licence (preferred)Work Authorisation:- Australia (preferred)
