We are a growing and established ophthalmic lens manufacturing company committed to producing high-quality optical products.
We are currently looking for an experienced Hard Coating Technician to join our production team and play a key role in our lens coating operations.
Position Overview
The Hard Coating Technician is responsible for operating coating equipment, maintaining process quality, and ensuring production standards are consistently met. This position requires hands-on technical experience and strong attention to detail in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and monitor Dip Coating and Spin Coating equipment for ophthalmic lenses
Prepare, set up, and adjust coating machines for daily production
Perform required measurements and quality checks during production
Accurately record process parameters and maintain production logs
Ensure coating processes meet company quality standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and work area
Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines
Assist with routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment
Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Production teams to meet daily targets
Qualifications & Requirements
3–5 years of experience in hard coating or a related role in an ophthalmic lens manufacturing environment is Mandatory.
Hands-on experience with Dip Coating and Spin Coating systems
Ability to perform measurements and maintain accurate documentation
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and commitment to product quality
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable, punctual, and able to work a 5:00 AM start shift
Good communication skills in English
