Job Description: Hardware Engineer – Live Building Systems
Location: – Amritsar, India

Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Hardware Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will work on developing and improving hardware control systems, data logging devices, and communication platforms for building automation. This is a dynamic opportunity to contribute to the evolution of smart buildings through advanced technology and integration.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and test hardware control systems and data logging devices for building automation.
Implement communication protocols such as MQTT, BACnet, and other relevant technologies.
Develop and optimize embedded systems and IoT devices to enhance building management and efficiency.
Collaborate with software engineers to integrate hardware with Live Building Systems' cloud platforms.
Conduct troubleshooting, debugging, and performance testing for new and existing hardware.
Document designs, processes, and testing procedures to ensure compliance and scalability.
Stay up-to-date with advancements in hardware technology and building automation trends.
Required Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Hardware Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
Strong background in hardware engineering and embedded systems.
Hands-on experience with MQTT, Python, BACnet, and similar protocols.
Familiarity with hardware design tools and simulation software.
Knowledge of building automation systems and IoT devices is highly desirable.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in circuit design, PCB layout, and embedded programming.
Understanding of communication interfaces (e.g., LoRaWAN, Modbus, Zigbee).
Experience with cloud integration and real-time data logging is a plus.
