Role Description
This is a contract remote role for a HashiCorp Engineer at SharpITS. Immediate start. Short term 1-2 months. But it can lead to multi-year engagement.
The scope is to do a pilot onboarding of one application.
The HashiCorp Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining HashiCorp tools such as Terraform, Vault, Consul, and Nomad. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and management using HashiCorp tools.
Qualifications
• Experience with HashiCorp tools: Terraform, Vault, Consul, Nomad
• Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code principles and best practices
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Certifications such as HashiCorp Certified: Vault or Terraform Associate or equivalent are a plus
