HEAVY DIESEL MECHANICS | SURFACE & UNDERGROUND
Expression of Interest – WA Mining Opportunities
Beacon Recruitment is currently seeking expressions of interest from experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanics for upcoming opportunities across surface and underground mining operations throughout Western Australia.
We are looking to connect with trade-qualified HD Mechanics with strong experience across mobile plant maintenance, breakdown diagnostics, component change-outs and preventative maintenance within mining, civil or heavy industrial environments.
Opportunities may include:
- FIFO and residential positions
- Surface and underground operations
- Workshop and field service roles
- Shutdown, ad hoc and permanent opportunities
- Various roster options available
Equipment exposure may include:
- CAT, Komatsu and Hitachi mobile plant
- Haul trucks, loaders, excavators and dozers
- Underground mobile equipment
- Ancillary and support equipment
Key responsibilities:
- Breakdown maintenance and fault finding
- Diagnostics and root cause analysis
- Scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
- Major component change-outs
- Working safely within site compliance procedures
To be considered, you may hold:
- Relevant trade qualification
- Driver’s licence
- White Card
- Standard 11 (preferred)
- Police Check
- High Risk Tickets (LF/EWP advantageous)
- Previous mining or heavy industry exposure
