Job description
Interpret written technical specification documents.-
Discussion with Team Leader and Product counterpart.
Understanding the requirement from technical point of view
Evaluating the Impact of new development / changes.
Understand the documents in details.
Perform coding to written technical specifications
Writing code.
Code review at his own level.
Unit Testing.
Maintaining code repository.
Perform Unit Testing for the application Code developed
Create test cases wherever required
Perform Unit Testing in line with the algorithm
Ensure any observations of such testing are fixed before releasing the module/application for SIT/UAT
Perform maintenance programming and correction of identified defects.
Check the defects reported and resolve
Assign the cases to testing team
Update user accordingly.
Evaluate and identify new technologies for implementation
Understand the new technologies
Evaluate and implement.
Check the impact and benefits of implementing new tech.
Roll out common plan for others to implement the same in new projects.
Provide assistance to testers and support personnel as needed to determine system problems.
Discussing the application flow with testing team.
Sharing unit test cases.
Reviewing the test cases created by the testing team.
Resolve bugs identified by testing team.
Perform coding as per the application security standard.
ISG has defined coding standard which needs to be followed by developers.
Taking sign-off on all the identified points by ISG in code review.
Sharing project knowledge with ISG in case they need some clarification.
Ensuring security measures are followed.
