Head -Audit
Looking for candidates:
For a senior leadership role, having 15 + years of experience and at least 7 years of end-to-end internal
audit in the BFSI sector and people management experience in auditing / accounting function with a
strong background in banking regulation
Having in-depth knowledge of the banking industry and relevant laws and regulations, including the
RBI circulars.
Qualification:
Essential: - Professional certification such as CA/ CS/ ICWA / CFA / MBA / MFM
Desirable: - IIBF relevant certification/ CISA certification
Responsibilities include:
Heading the Audit & Inspection Department of the Bank
Ensuring that the Bank's operations are conducted in compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and
internal policies and procedures as per RBI guidelines and directions.
Developing and implementing the risk-based audit plan that is in line with the Bank's overall strategy
and objectives keep relevant processes benchmarked to best practices and peer banks.
Acting as the primary point of contact for all regulatory agencies, including the RBI, in matters related
to audit function.
Managing Statutory, Concurrent Audits & Internal Inspection of the Bank
Leading and managing the audit team to ensure that all audits are conducted efficiently and effectively.
Providing guidance and direction to the audit team on audit methodologies, techniques, and best
industry practices.
Reviewing and approving audit reports and ensure that they are accurate, complete, and provide
meaningful recommendations for improvement.
Ensuring that all audit findings are promptly communicated to management and that appropriate
corrective actions are taken.
Providing technical assistance with investigations, special audits and provide subject matter expertise as
needed.
Building strong relationships with key stakeholders across the Bank, including Senior Management,
Business Units, and other internal and external stakeholders.
Providing regular updates on audit activities to the Audit Committee and Senior Management.
Providing guidance and ensuring mandatory training programs are conducted for Bank employees on
audit-related matters as per requirements.
Reporting Audit & Compliance matters to the Board
Age: Below 48 years

Designation and Compensation will be commensurate with qualifications & relevant experience
