Role Responsibilities

This individual will be responsible for:
• Establish the strategic roadmap for program and project delivery in collaboration with business and ITO partners. Delivery Capital regulatory programs [Basel IV, ND deliveries, Sec 166] in conjunction with cross functional teams like Tech, GRR and BAU.
• Deliver the process improvement and M&E agenda for the business by implemeting high priority changes for recuced manual effort, operational risk and improved RWA.
• Deliver strategic initiatives for the bank by analyzing the impact of enterprise projects, digitzation etc and ensuring minimal disruption to BAU for anu such change.
• Be the Change lead for business critical, high profile and regulatory mandated projects while concurrently balancing discretionary business improvement projects.
• Balance the intent to have a strategic approach for Internal and Regulatory Liquidity projects with the need to meet regulatory deadlines and reduce time to market.
• Manage a team of ~50 staff directly and additional indirect resources through project team structures
• Influence design and execution of the projects where there is no direct control.
• Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group's Values and Code of Conduct.
• Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
• Lead the team to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank's Conduct Principles
• Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

• Capital and GRR management teams.
• Other Stream leads in the ASPIRE programme (Data, Consolidations, Finance, Treasury).
• Head of GCFO Change and Strategic Transformation.
• Capital GPO
• Country, Region, and Segment CFOs
• Senior TCS, Cap Gemini and PWC partners.

Our Ideal Candidate
• MBA from a premier institute is preferred.
• Professional Qualifications: Minimum of 15 years' experience of setting up large technology-oriented scale centre of excellence comprising of 100+ team size. Minimum of 10 years of experience managing large ERP projects with multiple interfaces involved and/or two large-scale full life cycle implementations. Has worked in Agile delivery ecosystem. Proven experience in people, risk and change management.
• Proven experience working across multiple geographies in rapidly changing environment.
• Strong programme management skills with emphasis on building effective teams, experience with Agile deliveries preferred. Strong track record of delivering major data programs. Business and technical data leadership.
