Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to join our team. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations and ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and supervise the kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
• Develop and create new menu items, taking into consideration dietary restrictions and customer preferences
• Ensure that all food is prepared and cooked to the highest standards, following proper food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
• Collaborate with the restaurant management team to develop and implement cost-effective strategies
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and innovations
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role
• Excellent knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary trends
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality dishes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
• Culinary degree or certification is preferred
