Job Description
We’re after an experienced chef to run the kitchen at Red Star Burgers. This hands-on role involves leading service from the grill, taking full ownership of day-to-day operations, and growing with the business. We’re not looking for a short-term fix.
Red Star changed ownership in 2026 and we’re moving in a fresh new direction, so it’s a great time to be part of the change. At the core, we want a chef who can lead a team, cares about the food they make, and wants a role with real growth, salary progression, and owners who genuinely care.

Knows food costs, prep systems and how to run an efficient kitchen
Confident leading a team and holding people accountable
Actually cares about the food, the people, and the standard
Duty Manager’s Certificate is required — already having it is a bonus, but we can help you get it

What you get
$35+ per hour + performance bonuses
Clear expectations and a supportive ownership team
A role with real responsibility and influence
Pay and role review after a set period
