Role Description
This is a full-time on-site position for a Head Chef at Clove Hospitality Pvt. Ltd, located in Delhi. The Head Chef will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and managing kitchen staff. The Head Chef will work closely with the Operation manager to ensure high-quality dining experiences for customers, and will also be responsible for inventory management, food costing, and maintaining food safety and hygiene standards.
Qualifications
• Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role
• Excellent knowledge of kitchen practices and techniques, as well as experience in menu planning and food preparation
• Demonstrated creativity and innovation in menu development
• Working knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
• Ability to manage and lead kitchen staff, and ensure high-quality output under time constraints
• Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage inventory and food costing
• Degree or certification from a culinary school, or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
• Experience managing budgets and achieving sales targets is a plus
• Experience in managing a kitchen in a fine dining restaurant is a plus
