Job Description
We are seeking a talented and adaptable North/South Indian Vegetarian Chef to join our team.
• Collaborate with the cafe management to develop and refine dishes, incorporating customer feedback and culinary trends.
• Participate in menu planning sessions to innovate and enhance the cafe's offerings.
• Conduct regular quality checks on both ingredients and dishes to ensure they meet the required standards.
• Ensure efficient operation of the kitchen during service, maintaining high standards for speed and quality.
• Organize and manage the workflow to maximize productivity without compromising on the quality of food.
Train and supervise junior kitchen staff to ensure they meet the high standards expected.
Manage inventory for the kitchen, ensuring sufficient supplies while minimizing waste.
Coordinate with suppliers to source the best quality plant based ingredients at cost effective prices.
Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen , adhering to food hygiene regulation.
Requirements:
Culinary diploma or relevant training is a plus.
Previous experience as a chef, preferably in a vegan/Vegetarian setting.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Language : Malayalam/English/Hindi/Tamil
