Role summary
• Part of a highly engaged and cross-functional talented team that champions digital product strategy and product road mapping for a suite of complex customer-facing digital experiences, delivered through a leading mobile banking application
• Lead design and continuous improvement of mobile banking app based on in-depth consumer research and user experience design principles
Key roles & responsibilities
• Create design briefs that outline clear design intent for iterations, prioritized concepts, and timelines. Create benchmark for design in banking industry.
• Communicate and defend the design team's vision to various internal stakeholders (product managers, marketing, management team).
• Be hands-on in problem-solving with the business teams and Product Managers.
• Foster innovation among members of the design team as well as with other cohorts.
• Contribute to an award winning, talent-attracting, and productive design culture in the office, by leading through design activities and through proven and consistent management practices.
• Work closely with CPO to create design strategy to align with the overall vision.
Key skills
• Challenger mindset & passion to challenge status quo to find new solutions to drive out of the box ideas - Human centers design capabilities and core craft-skills across a variety of clients and industries showing process, methodologies and success
• Knowledge of research methods and frameworks, user experience design principles, user interface standards, tools, product prototyping and industry guidelines
• Solid understanding of consumer/ banking/ fintech products
• Communication & Interpersonal skills
• Expert knowledge and demonstrated experience with a broad range of tools or technologies, including
• Figma, Sketch, InVision, Principle, Framer, Adobe XD
