Job Description : VP - Engineering is responsible for ensuring that design requirements are met, for overseeing the consistency of user experiences, and for leading a team of engineers working on specific business domains.

Description -
1) Implement best engineering practices and procedures to ensure that quality standards of engineering deliverables are met and consistent.
2) Develop an efficient engineering organization and contribute to attracting and retaining engineering talent.
3) Support in established organizational objectives by developing goals and strategies.
4) Lead engineering team through mentorship and review designs and ensure all critical initiatives are delivered within the agreed schedule with good and consistent quality.
5) Work with technical and business operation teams to ensure the required system performance of availability, scalability, throughput and latency are met.
6) Provide technical guidance to engineering teams and resolve bottlenecks.
7) Recommend technological developments and work towards removing inefficiency by bringing in automation.
8) Keep abreast with latest in the technology and provide most relevant solutions.
+) Maintaining good relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
10) Represent organization in external forums and publish technical white papers.
Profile :
- Strong technical knowledge on enterprise software development, design and architecture.
- Should be proficient in microservices architecture (preferably in Java-Spring Boot), event streaming platforms (like Kafka), distributed key value non-relational databases (like Aerospike)
- Ability to lead a large team of 100+ engineers.
- Networking and inter-personal skills
- Leadership qualities
- Enterprising and entrepreneurial
- Results orientation
