Overview:
Tailorworks Company is seeking an exceptionally talented, visionary, and hands-on Creative Head / Head Designer to lead its design direction and team. We are looking for a creative powerhouse who can define the brand’s design identity, engage customers, and lead a world-class team with humility, passion, and precision.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the in-house design team, ensuring work meets Tailorworks’ premium standards.
• Create and implement a signature design language that defines the Tailorworks aesthetic—motifs, embroidery patterns, silhouettes, and styling.
• Regularly engage with customers to gather feedback, understand preferences, and create designs that connect emotionally and aesthetically.
• Collaborate with the sales team to identify fashion opportunities, plan collections, and generate demand.
• Develop product lines for campaigns and advertisements that keep customers actively engaged with the brand.
• Oversee production aesthetics, packaging, and quality control to ensure all products reflect our luxury positioning.
• Drive innovation and reduce design and sizing errors by implementing efficient processes and technologies.
• Build and lead a talented team by hiring, training, mentoring, and upskilling designers.
• Conduct regular training programs, design reviews, and case studies to maintain a high-performance creative culture.
• Contribute to building manuals and internal resources to standardize excellence.
• Ensure each Tailorworks order carries exceptional creative and customer value.
Candidate Profile:
• Education: Formal education in fashion design from a reputed institute.
• Experience: Minimum 10+ years in fashion design.
• Strong background working with leading designer brands (preferably top bespoke or couture designers).
• Experience in export houses and/or high-fashion commercial brands is a strong advantage.
• Must have hands-on exposure to designer wear, luxury clothing, and customer-centric bespoke design.
Qualities:
• Out-of-the-box thinker, yet practical and solution-oriented.
• Team leader with humility, energy, and emotional intelligence.
• Passionate about craftsmanship, innovation, and building a timeless brand identity.
