Job Description
A mechanical engineer or equivalent with minimum 15-20 years’ experience in senior
managerial role in Iron casting/foundry industry
Well versed with modern casting techniques including automatic, high pressure vertical and
horizontal molding
Should also have first hand experience in working with high pressure moulding lines and
knowledge of new product development activities
Knowledge of post-foundry operations like machining, coating, assembly, etc. of critical
components
Will be responsible for P&L of the plant and provide end to end solution (production, supply
chain, quality, costing, process optimization etc.)
Techno commercial experience in deciphering technical requirements of the customers,
reading drawings and established industry standard costing methodology
Prior experience in exports will be preferred
Experience of manufacturing thin walled ductile and Malleable iron castings will be given
preference
Ability to build and lead a team to independently run the plant profitably
Able to coordinate manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support,
documentation and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes and
customer requirements.
Ability to participate in meeting with clients to communicate and clarify interfaces.
Capable of taking proper Judgment on day to day situations as and when situation arises
Take Initiative in various developmental programs
Demonstrate dependability, decisiveness, tact, integrity, endurance, courage & enthusiasm in
personality
