The Role
Hills Gymnastics Academy (HGA) has seen consistent growth in membership and program participation, increasing the need for strong leadership, structured training, and efficient program management. To maintain high standards and continue providing quality gymnastics programs, we are looking to hire a Part-Time Head Coach (20 hours per week).
This role will balance coaching, administration, and staff development, ensuring structured program delivery and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will hold advanced qualifications in Gymnastics for All (GFA) and Women's Artistic Gymnastics (WAG).
ESSENTIAL:
Advanced Gymnastics Australia Coach Accreditation
Knowledge of gymnastic programs, particularly children’s gymnastics
Customer service mindset
Strong sales acumen
Fanatical parent/customer care mindset
Passionate about children’s development in gymnastics
Current Gymnastics Australia technical membership
Annually updates gymnastics accreditation in accordance with Gymnastics Australia technical membership requirements
Current Working with Children Check
National Police Check
Current Senior First Aid Certificate
Current CPR Certificate
DESIRABLE:
Gymnastics Australia Presenter and assessor accreditation
Gymnastics Australia accredited Supervisor
Knowledge of and experience in developing staff/coaches
Knowledge of gymnastics levels and WAG Events.
Knowledge of child development
