This position is a high-level leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of the investment banking division, including client relationships, transaction execution and profitability. The role will require to lead a team of investment bankers, focus on strategic initiatives, business development, and ensuring the firm's success in the investment banking space.

Key Responsibilities:

- Client Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring their satisfaction.

- Transaction Execution: Overseeing the execution of mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, and other investment banking transactions, ensuring successful deal closures.

- Business Development: Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, expanding the bank's client base, and generating revenue. Identifying the opportunities in the Market.

- Strategic Planning: Developing and implementing strategic plans for the investment banking division, aligning with the bank's overall objectives.

- Team Leadership: Motivating and managing a team of investment bankers, providing guidance, and ensuring their professional development. Providing leadership, mentorship and supervision to relevant team members.

- Profitability: Monitoring and ensuring the profitability of the investment banking division, including revenue generation and expense management.

- Industry Expertise: Staying abreast of market trends, industry developments, and regulatory changes relevant to investment banking.

- Risk Management: Implementing and monitoring risk management policies and procedures within the investment banking division.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven track record of success in a senior investment banking role, with a minimum of 15+ years relevant experience.

- Excellent understanding of financial, legal and reputational risks facing large integrated investment banks in today's environment.

- Strong understanding of financial markets, investment products, and deal structuring.

- Ability to lead and motivate a team, manage complex projects, and make sound strategic decisions.

- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.

- Very strong quantitative and analytical skills.

- Adaptability, able to lead IB deals and guide the team and be ready to assume a high level of responsibility as a member of a team.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

- Ability to analyze complex financial situations, identify opportunities, and solve problems.

- Deep understanding of the investment banking industry, including regulations and best practices.
