The Role:
As a Head – IT you will be responsible for the overall planning, organization, and execution of all IT functions within the organization. Apart from a strategic and tactical leadership you must ensure that the IT infrastructure, systems, and services align with the company's business objectives and ensure the security and integrity of the company data and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Spearhead the development and implementation of tech-enabled business solutions aligned with the evolving needs of Bestseller India, driving competitive advantage in the fashion retail landscape.
• Partner with leading innovation firms to identify, prototype, and integrate cutting-edge digital tools, enhancing efficiency, customer experience, and business growth.
• Anticipate future business requirements through proactive market research and technological trend analysis, translating insights into actionable IT strategies and prototype development.
• Own end-to-end IT project delivery, from initial concept to successful launch, encompassing new system implementations, strategic upgrades, and comprehensive change management protocols.
• Ensure the seamless implementation, meticulous documentation, and timely sign-off of all IT applications, with a critical focus on SAP optimization.
• Maintain superior infrastructure uptime and efficient IT service desk operations, collaborating with vendors to deliver best-in-class maintenance services across all Bestseller India locations.
• Measure and analyse the ROI of IT initiatives, providing actionable insights to key stakeholders to inform strategic decision-making and optimize future investments.
• Manage IT budgets with a focus on cost control and strategic resource allocation, ensuring alignment with business priorities and maximizing return on investment.
• Cultivate and lead a high-performing, future-ready IT team, fostering a culture of continuous learning, innovation, operational excellence, and proactive problem-solving.
• Champion a work environment that encourages experimentation, values diverse perspectives, and rewards innovative thinking, attracting and retaining top IT talent.
Eligibility Criteria:
• A minimum of 10 to 15 years’ experience in the IT domain in a leadership role.
• Individuals who have worked in a multi country setup would be preferred.
