Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Head of Legal to lead our non-litigation legal team, focusing on affordable housing projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate law, specifically in affordable housing, and a proven track record in managing legal aspects of large-scale projects.
Person should be either handling Pan India, North & West, South & West combination.
Should have experience in Affordable Home Loan and LAP.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee and manage all non-litigation legal matters related to affordable housing projects.
• Provide strategic legal advice to senior management and project teams.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to affordable housing.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, leases, and other legal documents.
• Collaborate with external legal counsel and consultants as needed.
• Develop and implement legal policies and procedures to support the organization's goals.
• Conduct due diligence and risk assessments for new projects and investments.
• Stay updated on legal trends and changes in affordable housing laws and regulations.
