Job Title: Head Mistress
Department: Pre-primary School
Reports to: Director
Summary:
The Head Mistress is responsible for the overall leadership and management of the pre-primary school. She is responsible for ensuring that the school provides a high-quality education and care environment for all children. The Head Mistress will also be responsible for developing and implementing the school's curriculum, as well as managing the staff and resources.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the pre-primary school team
Develop and implement the school's curriculum
Ensure that the school provides a safe and nurturing environment for all children
Manage the school's finances and resources
Recruit and train new staff
liaise with parents and guardians
Represent the school at meetings and events
Organise and execute school events and functions
Qualifications:
Graduate with D.El.ED/B.Ed
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role in a pre-primary school or 10 years experience as a teacher in a pre-primary school
Strong understanding of early childhood development
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate staff
Ability to work on Email/Word/Power Point/Zoom/Google Meet independently
