Key Responsibilities:
Head of Mobile Development responsible for leading the mobile development team in the creation and maintenance of mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms. The following are some of the responsibilities expected from a Head of Mobile Development.
1. Develop and implement mobile development strategies that align with the company's business objectives.
2. Manage and lead a team of mobile developers and oversee their work to ensure it meets quality standards, timelines and budget.
3. Collaborate with other departments, such as design and product management, to ensure the mobile applications meet user needs and requirements.
4. Develop and maintain the mobile application architecture, ensuring that it is scalable and flexible to meet future needs.
5. Review and evaluate the performance of the mobile development team and provide feedback and coaching to team members as needed.
6. Keep up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies in mobile development and make recommendations for their adoption.
7. Ensure that mobile applications are tested thoroughly and are free of bugs before release.
8. Manage relationships with third-party vendors, such as software development agencies, and ensure their work meets quality standards and deadlines.

10. Ensure that the mobile development team adheres to industry standards and best practices, such as coding standards, security practices, and accessibility guidelines.
Head of Mobile Development is responsible for leading the mobile development team, developing and implementing mobile development strategies, managing relationships with vendors, and ensuring that mobile applications are developed to meet user needs and quality standards.

4. Strong understanding of mobile application architecture and design patterns.
5. Experience with RESTful APIs and server-side technologies.

8. Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
