SHOPLC OVERVIEW:

Shop LC, US employs approx. 550 people in operations such as warehousing, customer service, merchandising, marketing, eCom, Marketplaces, Live Studio. Role Intro: Head of Business Development (Jewellery Sales B2B)

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Business Development (Jewelry Sales B2B) to drive the growth of our jewellery division (Colorstone/Gemstone Jewellery). As the Head of Business Development, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, establishing strategic partnerships, expanding distribution channels, and driving sales growth. This role requires exceptional business acumen, strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of the jewellery industry, and a proven track record in driving successful business development initiatives.

Role & Responsibilities:

· Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to expand the jewellery division's market reach and revenue.

· Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, market trends, and emerging customer needs to develop growth strategies.

· Establish and nurture relationships with potential clients, key stakeholders, and strategic partners to drive business growth and secure new sales opportunities.

· Lead negotiations and close deals with major clients, distributors, and retailers to establish profitable partnerships.

· Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective marketing and promotional strategies that align with business development objectives.

· Analyze market data, competitor activities, and consumer insights to identify gaps and recommend appropriate actions to increase market share.

· Conduct market research and feasibility studies to assess the viability of new product lines, target markets, and expansion opportunities.

· Monitor industry trends, stay updated on jewellery design and fashion preferences, and provide recommendations for product development.

· Develop and manage the business development budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.

· Build and lead a high-performing business development team, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field. A master's degree would be a plus.

· Proven experience of over 7 years in business development, sales, or related roles within the jewellery industry.

· Knowledge of B2B markets.

· In-depth knowledge of the jewellery industry and B2B Sales focused on Europe, Australia and USA markets.

· In-depth knowledge of market trends, competitor analysis, and customer preferences.

· Demonstrated success in driving business growth, expanding market share, and achieving revenue targets.

· Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a high-performing team.

· Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

· Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze market data, identify business opportunities, and develop actionable strategies.

· Proactive and results-oriented with a strong business acumen.

· Passionate for Jewellery, Sales & Entrepreneurial mind set is required.

· Ability to build and maintain strategic relationships with clients, partners, and industry professionals.

· Proficiency in using CRM systems, sales management software, and Microsoft Office Suite.

· Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
