Job Description
Role: Head of Compliance, IBU GIFT Gandhinagar
Key Responsibilities:
• Knowledge of Regulations/Handbook issued by International Financial Services Centers Authority (IFSCA) for IBU
• Knowledge of FEMA Act (including Rules/Regulation issued under the same) and RBI guidelines mainly relating to liabilities/lending activities by the Bank and Trade related services offered by the Bank
• Relationship handling with IFSCA
• To assist in vetting of letters sent to IFSCA and furnishing information sought by IFSCA in timely manner
• To assist in Inspection process of IFSCA
• To assist the Business Groups in offering Cross Border Remittance services for permissible transaction allowed under FEMA, Deposit and account of non-residents in India and other Banking products subject to compliance with RBI/IFSCA Regulations
• To assist Business Groups and GIFT City branch in framing policies and processes as per the regulations/guidelines issued by IFSCA
• Implementation of IFSCA circulars/Handbook for business through GIFT City branch and continuous monitoring of the same
• Periodically reviewing Bank’s internal process/policies in line with the regulatory changes
• Preparation and updating MIS for Bank’s internal purpose
Experience
• Professional Qualification: CA/CS/MBA
• Candidates with 5 years of working experience in Compliance function handling RBI/IFSCA Compliance will be preferred
