Proficient in InDesign / Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop
A good body of design work, including brand identity work
Fluent in English and confident in communicating
Understanding of the aesthetics of what we are trying to communicate
Able to design original work, independently
Should have some experience and knowledge of HTML software and other related online design support languages
Direct, manage and facilitate delivery of the output of a Graphic Designer (s)
Efficient and quick project turnaround times
Being resourceful when it comes to dealing with vendors
A creative thinker, able to think laterally and out-of-the-box
A keen interest in art and culture
Should have a background in design or art history or visual anthropology or cultural studies or all of the above
In addition to the above, it would be good to have:
Fluency in other languages like Hindi, Marathi and so on
Any experience with Final Cut Pro or other video editing software
Job scope:
To take forward the look and feel that has been set for the brand in the correct way for on-going projects
To set a new look and feel for the brand (for both G5A and PORT) and creating a proper Brand Identity Manual
Guiding a Graphic Designer to create or modify communication collateral ranging from posters, flyers, backdrops, signage, emailers, social media posts, menus, invitations and more for all programs and projects for G5A and PORT
Conceptualising the brand identity of G5A initiated projects and programmes
Putting together the design, marketing, communication, and any other creative collaterals
Brainstorming and finding appropriate references, mood board templates for projects assigned
Liaising with vendors / printers and making sure all our work is of good quality and delivered on time
Being pro-active for program and project creatives on an end-to-end basis by making sure regular pieces (social media cover pages, event pages, web banners and so on) are delivered on time and archived in an organised manner on
