Job Description
We are seeking a skilled, experienced and motivated Head of Digital Tech (Software Applications Development & Engineering) for a dynamic small finance bank. The Head of Engineering is responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of all technology applications (customer and merchant facing apps). The role is based out of Jaipur and the current team size is of 50+ for this position.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute the IT applications strategy in consonance with the Bank's IT Strategy.
Lead a team of application developers, engineers, architects, and analysts in designing, developing, and maintaining robust and secure banking applications. The current team size is 50+.
Oversee relationships with third-party vendors and software providers to ensure the bank's technology needs are met. The focus is on mobile first tech apps.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices in application development.
Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing IT applications team.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a similar leadership role with minimum of 12 years of experience in web and mobile application for Banking /Fintech domain
Experience in delivering successful modern distributed applications
Hands-on development experience in all our technology choices
Knowledge of system design and development of web, mobile, backend, database, integration, machine learning, cloud, containers and CI/CD pipelines
