Job Description
We are seeking a skilled, experienced and motivated Head of Digital Tech (Software Applications Development & Support) for a dynamic small finance bank. The Head of IT Applications is responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of all technology applications (customer and merchant facing apps). The role is based out of Jaipur and the current team size is of 50+ for this position.
Responsibilities
• Develop and execute the IT applications strategy in consonance with the Bank’s IT Strategy.
• Lead a team of application developers, architects, and analysts in designing, developing, and maintaining robust and secure banking applications. The current team size is 50+.
• Oversee relationships with third-party vendors and software providers to ensure the bank's technology needs are met.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices in application development.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing IT applications team.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• A minimum of 15 years of experience in IT application development and management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong understanding of banking operations and financial services
