About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Head of Finance to lead the finance function for a luxury hospitality business based in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate must be a Qualified Chartered Accountant with strong experience in luxury hotels, premium restaurants, or catering businesses. This role requires a hands-on leader who can drive financial performance, ensure compliance, and support business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Strategy & Planning
Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes Drive long-term financial strategy aligned with business goals Provide strategic financial insights to senior leadership
Financial Operations & Reporting
Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Ensure accuracy in MIS reporting and financial analysis Monitor cash flow, working capital, and fund management
Cost Control & Profitability
Implement cost optimization strategies across departments Conduct profitability analysis for outlets, events, and business verticals Strengthen internal controls and financial discipline
Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure statutory compliance including GST, Income Tax, audits, and regulatory requirements Liaise with auditors, banks, and financial institutions Establish strong internal audit and risk management frameworks
Team Leadership
Lead and mentor the finance and accounts team Develop SOPs and streamline financial processes Collaborate closely with operations and business heads
Candidate Requirements
Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience in luxury hotels, restaurants, or catering businesses Strong understanding of hospitality financial structures and cost dynamics Proven leadership and team management experience Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills
