Job Description
This is a senior, high-impact role for a commercially minded finance leader who thrives in a dynamic environment where systems are evolving and the opportunity to shape and improve is real. You’ll bring strong judgement, deep financial expertise and a practical, hands-on approach — equally comfortable presenting to the Board as you are refining processes, improving systems, and leading your team through change.
If you’re motivated by building a contemporary, high-performing finance function and enabling an organisation to scale sustainably, we’d love to hear from you.
About us:
Collarts (and its predecessor, Ausmusic) began more than 30 years ago with just three programs, a handful of students, and a small team of passionate lecturers. Founded on music and audio – a proudly rock’n’roll start – we’ve grown into one of Australia’s leading creative education providers.
Today, operating as Collarts, we teach more than 2,000 students from over 30 countries across four campuses and in 50 partner high schools. We offer 24 degree programs and 5 vocational certificates, and are ranked Australia #1 Creative Arts Course Provider according to the 2024 Quality Indicators for Learning and Teaching (QILT) national surveys.
Our community includes award-winning artists, industry leaders and respected educators across music, screen, design, fashion and creative industries.
In 2024, we launched our new strategic plan, Creativity on Purpose, focused on reach, engagement, sustainability and quality. With continued growth across online, on-campus and secondary school partnerships, Collarts is committed to empowering the next generation of creative talent.
