Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the financial strategy and goals of the company in alignment with the overall business objectives
- Monitor all financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and expense management, to ensure compliance with financial regulations and optimize financial performance
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements on a monthly basis
- Collaborate with department heads to develop and manage departmental budgets, providing financial guidance and support
- Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations for cost optimization, revenue growth, and operational efficiency
- Establish and maintain robust financial controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting
- Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, providing guidance, training, and development opportunities
- Establish and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, such as auditors, banks, and financial institutions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Stay updated on industry trends, changes in accounting regulations, and financial best practices, and provide strategic advice to the executive team
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (MBA or CPA or equivalent preferred)
- Minimum of 4-7 years of progressive experience in finance.
- Strong knowledge of financial management principles and practices, including financial planning, budgeting, and analysis
- In-depth understanding of accounting standards and regulations
- Proficiency in MS Office suite, with advanced Excel skills for financial analysis
- Experience in creating and implementing financial models and forecasting tools
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement financial strategies to support business growth and profitability
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage a team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
To excel in this role, you must be a strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail. You should have a track record of driving financial performance, optimizing financial processes, and successfully leading a finance team within a manufacturing or similar industry.
Salary- 4-6 LPA (commensurate with experience)
