Job Title: Head of Logistics and Warehousing
Location: Leeds
Salary: Up to £80,000 per annum Plus car, bonus and benefits
Role: Permanent – Full time
Overview
We are recruiting for a Head of Logistics and Warehousing to develop the logistics strategy and improved customer experience for one of our clients, who continue to see grow and success within their market.
You will be operating across multiple sites and play a key role in the continued success of the business.
Ideal Candidate
• As the Head of Logistics and Warehousing you will have experience in logistics, warehousing, distribution and 3PL management
• You will have a proven track record in managing multi-site operational teams and developing talent
• Strong influencing skills
• Ability to analyse data and use reporting to drive data-led decision making
• You will be a KPI driven Head of Logistics and Warehousing, focused on continuous improvement in the field of logistics
Key Responsibilities
• Manage the 3PL contract providers to develop ideas & opportunities for cost reduction & service improvement
• Lead a team across multiple sites to deliver KPI’s, sharing best practices across the regions through the logistics CofE
• Work with key customers to develop improved customer experience that delivers true value to the overall supply chain
• Agree, manage, monitor and deliver the Logistics Operating budget for both warehouse and transport for the UK & Ireland
• Work across functions to influence decisions, through understanding of all areas of the operation
Commutable Locations: Leeds, York, Doncaster, Manchester, Rochdale, Huddersfield, Bradford
