Job Role
We are seeking a seasoned Plant Maintenance Head to lead our maintenance team and ensure the smooth operation of our plant machinery and equipment. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective maintenance strategies, managing budgets, and supervising a team of maintenance technicians.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement plant maintenance policies and procedures
- Manage a team of maintenance technicians and ensure timely completion of maintenance activities
- Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and prioritize repairs
- Coordinate with other departments to schedule maintenance downtime and minimize production disruptions
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety among the maintenance team
- Monitor equipment performance and implement preventive maintenance measures
- Develop and manage the maintenance budget
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to resolve complex maintenance issues
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering
- Proven experience of 7 to 10 years in plant maintenance, preferably in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical maintenance
- Excellent budgeting and resource management skills
- Ability to supervise and guide a team of maintenance technicians
- Experience in developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs
- Proficient in scheduling and coordinating maintenance activities
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of testing procedures and equipment
- Familiarity with industry regulations and standards
