About The Role
Sberbank India is looking for a Head of Methodology Department (Corporate Governance Policy) to join our expanding team in our office in Delhi. This pivotal role focuses on driving growth and expanding the business within the Indian corporate business sector, with an emphasis on international collaboration and business development strategies.
Responsibilities
• Organization of department functioning
• Establishment and development of Branch corporate governance system including collegial bodies structure and authorities, rationalize committee structure, remove redundancies and ensure transparency
• Establishment and development of internal regulatory documents (IRD) approval authorities and architecture, optimization of number and structure of IRDs.
• Standardization of IRDs, expert review for consistency of IRDs eliminating contradictions, redundancy, or duplication of internal regulations and functions
• Creation, maintenance and assessment of IRD of the Indian Branch in accordance with the legal requirements, circulars of the Reserve Bank and instructions of the Indian Branch management (banking rules, procedures, regulations, technical cards, memos, etc.)
• Updating existing documents (audit)
• Develop a periodic review mechanism for regulatory updates and compliance changes in IRDs
• Methodological assistance to all divisions of the Indian Branch and the HO in Russia within their competences
• Testing automated business processes of the Indian Branch within the scope of their functionality
• Participation in the part of methodological support
• Development of document management system including but not limited to the registration and storage procedure for documents/orders/IRDs, documents retention rules, authomatization of document workflow
Requirements
• 8+ years of experience in corporate banking sector with focus on corporate governance policy
• Previous experience in structuring collegial bodies and authorities, rationalizing committee structure
• 2+ years of team management experience
