Role : Unit Nursing Head
Department : Nursing
Location : Manipal Hospital Pune
Experience : 10+ years of experience
Brief Roles and responsibilities
• Plan and monitor the function of nursing department at the Unit to ensure compliance with established standards and process requirements to render safe and impeccable services to patients
• Develop and implement nursing policies and other initiatives to constantly keep improving nursing care
• Manage the nursing team by ensuring their overall development and retention through proper training, engagement, career planning and nurturing them to scale up
• Responsible for proper manpower panning based on the occupancy at the Unit. Hiring the right talent with right manpower mix and have the right strategies in place
• Ensure compliance with established standards like NABH, Infection control, CSSD and direct preparation and maintenance of patient records
• Interface with consultants and various stakeholders i.e. Hospital Director, Legal Head, etc.in case of medico legal and other complexities
Qualification : B.Sc(N) / PcBSc (N) / M.Sc(N) / Nurse Practitioner
Additional Qualification if any : MBA / MHA in any discipline / Quality accreditation Programs
