HEAD OF PRODUCT
Beginning Boutique is a fast-growing, female-founded fashion brand designing and producing our own product for a global customer. We create pieces for the moments that matter in her life and we care deeply about style, fit and delivering product that feels right, sells well and shows up on time.
We are looking for a Head of Product to lead our Buying, Design and Production functions and shape the future of the range as the brand continues to scale.
This is a senior, hands-on role for a product leader who can balance creativity with commercial discipline, lead high-performing teams and translate trend, culture and customer insight into product that resonates in the moment and performs at scale.
The role
As Head of Product, you will own the end-to-end product function, setting the product vision and leading how ranges are built, traded and delivered across all categories. You will guide brand elevation, margin performance and execution excellence, ensuring product decisions support growth while staying true to the Beginning Boutique customer.
This is a dual role. You will directly buy and trade at least one key category while leading and developing Buyers, Designers and Production. You will partner closely with Planning, Creative, Marketing and Operations to ensure product, timing and storytelling land together.
What you will do:
Own and deliver the product strategy across all categories
Shape aspirational, trend-led ranges that feel relevant, wearable and commercial
Translate seasonal trends, cultural moments and customer insight into strong product direction
Lead buying and design decisions across newness, repeats and core ranges
Trade within season, acting quickly on winners and exiting underperformers
Partner with Planning to align budgets, margin targets and intake phasing
Own supplier strategy, cost negotiations and quality standards
Drive improvements in lead times, margin mix and supplier performance
Embed sustainability and innovation into product strategy and execution
Build, coach and lead a high-performing Product team
What We’re Looking For:
6-10 years experience in buying or product leadership within fashion
Strong trend instinct with the ability to turn insight into commercial product
Proven experience building and trading ranges across multiple categories
Confident leading teams across Buying, Design and Production
Strong commercial judgement across margin, pricing and sell-through
Comfortable making fast, high-impact decisions in-season
Collaborative leader who partners well across Planning, Creative and Production
Experience in fast-moving fashion, DTC or eCommerce preferred
